Hi I see on the 1901 census that Caroline Tibbles and new born daughter are at 14 Caroline Place, so I think you can safely say you have the right mother. Regards Gail

yes david was born in apr 1901 so he would not appear. but i wonder where henry was then, very strange

hi all i have just recieved the birth certificate for my great grandfather david john tibbles 1901. it has his father as henry john tibbles and his mother as catherine tibbles formerly gill. (kensington). it has address at time of registration as 14 caroline place kensington( so i have tried to search using this address, with no luck) i can not find on the 1901 census a cathrine tibbles living with henry tibbles, however i have got a cathrine tibbles living with a glayds tibbles age 0 months. in the kensington area on the census and i am led to belive by my nan that this is the name of one of there children. henry john tibbles was a railway carman, so would that mean he would work away and not be home? i can find no marriage and no 1901 census, pleaes help maybe the address will give a clue if someone is able to do an address look up. manythanks
