Hey; I have been searching my Great Great Great grandfather for some time on the census records and have managed to find him on only 2 so far. I have spent hours trawling through these records and am soooo frustrated because i know he is there but just cannot find him. His details are as follows: John George Pinder born March 1820 Sheffield Yorkshire. married Alice Robinson born July 1825 Leeds Yorkshire Chlldren were Elizabeth 1845 Alfred 1847 & Selina 1848 all born leeds Yorkshire. John George married in Oldham in 1843 I have found john george and Alice and their family on the 1851 census and I have found John George on the 1881 census living at Spittlegate on his own in Lincolnshire but nothing else at all. Nothing for him in 1841 nothing for him in 1861 or 1871 Heseems to have vanished. I have looked at surname variants but no luck. I know his daughter Elizabeth emigrated to America with her husband but not sure of the dates all i know is Elizabeth emigrated before 1871 so maybe John george took a trip aswell I just am so tired from looking. CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!
