1891 has a William Burge who is a carpenter William 1833 Newton Abbot Marie b 1831 Chudleigh Harry b 1872 Bristol 1881 same family listed as Baye BUT no Louisa or Louise with this family. Good luck with the search. Maureen

It gives his occupation as a carpenter? Was looking at 1882 (which ties in with her age at death) to see if i could find a louisa (with a dad called william) and i found the louisa born in somerset but her dad wasn't William. xxx

Is there any occupation listed against her father on the 1901 marriage certificate? Why do you think she was born in Somerset? Maureen

Yes that is the family i have beeen going on as they were travelling gypsies and my gran said that we would never trace them as they travelled and her husband (thomas and louisa,s son) was born by a hedge!! He wasn't as we have his birth cert etc. I can't find any others that link in with her age at death? Could this have been miss quoted? Many thanks xxx

Yes that is the marriage 20th July 1901 Parish Church St Edmond Wiltshire Salisbury. Gave her age as 22.

Think I have lost the plot !!! How can her father be William Hughes on the marriage cert if she married a man called Hughes? Maureen

Yes i have her date of death as 20 th feb 1965 then Louisa Turner. Aged 83 which makes her born around 1882. On her 1st marraige to Thomas HUghes in 1901 (have the cert) she gave the age as 22 which made her born in 1878ish Now i have found her possible family with her date of birth 1878, with correct parents but this doesnt tie in to her age at death. On her first marraige cert she has her father as William hughes, looking at the census records i have found him born in 1840 and died in 1899 as this was the only William hughes that had a daughter called louisa and who was deceased when she got married in 1901. Mothers name was Kate ? Hope this helps, many thanks for your time xxx
