new development apparently my mum remembers her and her husband comming back from scotland, so they could have got married in Scotland. Can anyone have a look for me? I don't think i have access to these records. Thanks

Hi everypne, Thankyou for your help. I'd love to find her married name as i feel it would make life a lot easier. But it's great that you've found her birth record. If nothing's turned up by tomorrow I'll write to the paper again. But I've already put an article in last year asking for any surviving members of the Prince family with little look so her married name would be very useful. Rachel Searched 1947 to 1957 marriages and Not found Doreen Prince to Bickerdyke? Did see a Doreen Prince to Clifton in Wakefield Decemeber Quarter 1948? Any ideas. Janice

My grandad was born in Horbury, West Yorks in approx 1930. She was the youngest. The nearest registry office is Wakefield and thats where she went to live so i would have thought she was married there but i cant find her, I so want to get in touch if it's not too late,

There isn't a birth in JFM or AMJ 1930 for Dorothy Prince in Wakefield district.........so that probably rules out the first death of those posted above. What would the MMN be? Reg

Until you find her birth, you won't know if any subsequent entries are the right person........ Do you have any idea of when she might have been born? These deaths are on Ancestry.............. Hi everyone, I know that my grandad had a sister, she was still arrive in 1987 at my grandma's funeral but after that i dont know. Her maiden name was Dorothy Prince, she would have been born in Horbury and probably registered in Wakefield, Yorkshire. My mum thinks her married name was Bickerdyke but she's not sure. I would really like to get in touch with her or her children regrading my family history but i can't seem to find any info on the BMD records of her. My mum also thinks that the last time she heard of her she was living in Lofthouse, Yorkshire. Any ideas?
