Sidney Peagam - Ancestry says 2 Sidneys Peagams on the New YorkPassenger list but I don't have deluxe membership. Mine born abt 1857 Bishops Nympton Devon and lived in Wales 1870s - 1880's. Any info would be much appreciated. (I have all census info from 1861 - 1881 thanks its just the info on the passenger list that I need) Linda

Thanks alot Carol....He seems to have disappeared? like you I found him on the 1861 and 1871 census, he married my great grandmother Sarah Jane Lloyd in 1880 Newport Mon (name misspelled Pragam) . I found them on the 1881 Wales census under Peahans and it gave Sidneys birthplace as Bishops Nympton, they had 2 daughters Preswood Matilda Pigham (misspelled again) abt 1881 and Olive Evelina Pigham 1884 then I can't find him!! my great grandmother had a son with someone else in 1888 but what happened to Sidney?

hello Linda. I know we are related as all my peagams orriginated in Bishop Nympton. The only thing I know about an emigratee is that one of our ancestor lived in Canada.
