I think I have come to the conclusion that there will not be a family George, Judith and Alfred Shilling in 1861 as I think Judith had Alfred out of wedlock and I think she did not marry George after the birth. Who the other children are is a mystery - another one to solve. Thanks chaps for having a rummage take care Lin

No marriage found unfortunately. I think Judith's surname was Rayfield b 1834 Stockbury, Kent. If it is I have found her parents and siblings, but not a marriage of Judith Rayfield. Lin

Do you have George and Judith's marriage? I see there is an 11 year difference between Alfred and brother George Shilling who is only 5 in 1871. I am trying to find Alfred Shilling b abt 1855 Kent. His parents were George Davis Shilling & Judith Shilling. I have found Alfred in 1871 St Pancras and in 1881 he was still in St Pancras. His father died between 1867 and 1871 as Judith is widowed in 1871. For the life of me I cannot find George, Judith and Alfred in 1861 and me eyes have started to pop O^O. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Lin
