Find Ancestors

Hello, I've found this family on the 1851 census but I've searched and searched for days and I don't seem to be able to find them on any other census . Daniel Walker born abt 1823 Scotland , living in the parish of St. Giles in the Fields , Middlesex , England. On the 1851 census he is living with his wife Louisa and daughter Sarah A . Daniel had more daughters in the next ten years - Henrietta , Ellen , Louisa and Emma . Not that I know if they all lived except Ellen who married in Middlesex in 1883. I have also had a look at the some of census of Scotland and still no luck. Can anyone help find them please ? Thankyou . Maria

1851 gives birth place of Boston 1827 for Louisa and Soho 1849 for Sarah A When was Ellen born ? Have you got her on the later census after she married? Maureen

Hi , I have Ellen Walker born 4 / 8 / 1860 Christened 22 / 8 / 1860 Saint John The Baptist , Shoreditch , London. That information came from the LDS site.

Hi , Thanks for that I'll look into that marriage. You may think I'm mad but i'm looking into this family as it's the closest I have been able to find to mine. I have a marriage cert for a Helen Walker married 1883 , Middlesex to a Charles Johnson. She was 19 which means her age and name are wrong but her father was Daniel Frederick Walker . He was a Guilder and one of her witnesses was Henrietta Walker . Her sons were Charles , Leslie and Albert , I know this to be true. On the 1891 census she appears to be a widow living with her sons but named as Ellen Johnson not Helen, aged 28 . I know not all the facts tie in but she does seem to change her name from Helen to Ellen .The father is the same and Henrietta was Ellens sister and Helens witness.

I've know idea about Henrietta . On Helens marriage cert her father is named Daniel Frederick Walker. If he dead would it say on her marriage cert ?

Yep , Thats one I've got. I know Helen Johnson 's sons were Charles Richard , Albert and Leslie . Charles was my Grt grandad and have info of his birth cert .

Other than a possible death for Daniel in 1878 I have not found anything. Marriage cert would not always show if father was deceased - might depend on if the question was asked or not. Maureen

Think there is something strange about this family so will have to check out the image Karl could be Danl F - born in Scotland - but a blot over the age. Unfortunately the image does look like Watts Can not make out what the occupation is either Would fit with the death in 1878 in St Pancras Maureen

Any help would be wonderful as I'm having real problems with this side of my family. It started with Helen becoming Ellen , as the two certs I have she is named Helen but there isn't a Helen to be found on the census .
