That's interesting Julie and I'm sure you're right as his navy records show that he was on that ship in 1880 and 81. I love the mistranscription of Flushing!!! |

I am looking for George William Merrifield who was born in Flushing in 1843.On the 81 he's in Tranmere with wife Kate and children. Kate was born in 1849 in Flushing.He was in the Royal navy but I don't think he was at sea until 1873.Thanks. |
