reggie fanny did marry a george melanphy, he wasnt with his wife and kid in 1861 as he was in barracks in aldershot i beleive, they all disapear in later censuss jamie

Actually, looking at 1851, the 2week old child is listed as 'Infant'...........name obviously not chosen. There is a registration in AMJ 1851 for an Edwin, but you'd have to get the cert to establish the names of the parents. And the change of sex might need some explaining!!!! Reg
