looking for maiden name

Im looking for a maiden name of the wife of james hodson. I have them on the 1851 census in cheshire (bridge street) but have no look with her previous name. Any help would be great. Danny |

Daniel I think Rose is right & you will need to get one of the childrens birth certificates to find Elizabeths maiden name. There is a chance she was James's second wife. Births Sep 1844 (>99%) Hodson Thomas Henry Gt. Boughton 19 31 Georgina. |

Daniel I cant see the family on the 1841 census & the only other possible birth for one of the children on the IGI is Ellen but it says her parents were James Hodson & Jane? You need to get Thomas's birth certificate to clear up any doubt. Georgina. |
