please could someone look up for me Elizabeth Dootson born 1910. she married Herbert Hague born 1899. they married in manchester and had robert, lawrence and doreen. could someone please look up her birth? could you please look up the date of there marriage and also elizabeths parents. i know that she 5 brothers and 1 sister, jack, lilly, fredrick, thomas, james and lesley. any information would be great. thanks katie

Katie, because of her birth year, it is going to be difficult to find the date of her marriage if you have no idea when it occured. To find her parents, you will have to find her marriage first and get her fathers name and occupation, from this you MAY be able to find the family on the 1901 census. Alternatively, you can send for her birth certificate for her parents names. Choice of two come up on FreeBMD both 1911. the year of marriage was around 1936 time something like that

could have been 1937 as there first child was born around this time.

Marriage not 1936, will check a couple of years either side.

Found this, a bit earlier than you thought. Q4 1935 Dootson, Elizabeth, Hague, Ashton, 8d 1573 Hague, Herbert, Dootson, Ashton 8d 1573 If you get this marriage certificate, as I mentioned, it will have the fathers names on it and ages of the couple, from there we go backwards.

Hi Katie my mother was Ada Dootson she was the sister of Elizabeth and married Norman Meese my dad. He died when Iwas 18 months old and my mother married again to fredrick Birchenough but she died when I was almost 3 my fathers sisters brought me up. and I dont have much info on her family. sorry I haven't seen your letter before and hope you are still looking at the messages.please get in touch with me, Glenda
