thanks kath according to her grand daughter her parents were james eager and ansley lower from newhaven sussex who i have on 1891 but she isn,t on there bit strange ..... |

I can only find her in the 1901 census when she is a servant who is not living with parents. I can't find her in 1891 at all. If you could find her in 1891 and get her parents first names, then you could look for a marriage, by looking under her father's name. I think you may have to buy the certificate to get her mother's maiden name. Kath. x |

They're British Vital Records Index, a set of 16 cd's covering BMD's, usually those that aren't covered on Familysearch although there is some overlap. They're purchased through the Familysearch site. There are more christenings of siblings of Jemima, give me a minute to type them out. Margaret |

Now, back to BVRI. Children of Jeremiah & Jemima Eager in Newhaven, Sussex: James, 2 Apr.1848 John, 11 Jan.1852 Thomas, 6 Jan.1856 Edward, 4 Oct.1857 Elijah, 3 Dec.1858 (this one has no father's name, only mother Jemimah) Then this one, son of Jeremiah & Susannah who seems to be his second wife according to the census. Frederick William, 19 Mar.1871 That's all folks!! |
