hi could any one please do a 1901 cesus lookup for an address.. 17 Baptist end, Netherton, west midlands and possibly the Close Neighbours, i am trying to find Surnames Taylors, Edwards, and possibly Davies. Thankyou Ann

at the moment i don't have any fornames unless they were born before the 1901 census, i have a Thomas Edwards who was a neighbour of 17 Baptist End, Netherton, West Midlands. i am looking for Taylor or possibly Davies who lived at the address i am asking for. i'm guessing that a Florence Davies lived there with her parents. i do know that Thomas Edwards did move in to number 17 Baptist End don't know if they got married. regards Ann

West Midlands did not exist in those days........is Netherton anywhere near Dudley? Is there any way you can find more accurate info? With the names not being unusual, finding people with only vague ideas is tricky, to say the least. If you could start with whatever facts you are certain of, then work backwards, it might be easier to help you Reg

o.k i'll try this is what i've got ... i have from research a Willaim Taylor married a Florence Davies in 1905 at St Andrews, Dudley. i believe they lived at 17 Baptist End, Netherton, Dudley, next door I have A Thomas Edwards and a sister named ? Edwards who had 2 children Harry and Alice i guese these would be born after 1901. William died young and Thomas moved in with Florence i think they might have married frim looking i found a marraige for them in 1916, i have been told this address from my father in law he said his grandparents lived there and he thinks his grandfather was named William Taylor. the reason i am asking for a look up is because i am trying to connect my finding to my tree. ann

You really need the 1905 marriage cert, to establish the ages, and paternal details of both parties.......... Unfortunately, where they lived in 1905 is not necessarily any guide as to where they might have been four years earlier........ Reg

Hi Ann I also have skeldons in my tree my grandmother was Esther skeldon,her father was Ezekiel Skeldon mother Annmaria (steventon)? I do have a tree for Skeldons going back to 1746 where believe it or not John Skeldon (skelging) was married to your name sake A nn Aston. John was born in 1746c Annc 1741. do these fit in your tree at all. rgards glenda
