I had seen these, but the place of birth is wrong. I think I had found a marriage for a William Bird and Jane Dawes but it gave the wrong father for William, so I ruled that one out.
William & Matilda: why would he give a different place of birth when his family were all from Snetterton.

Is this the 1842 William??

Ok, Have brought this thread up again as I still can't find William in 1881, 1891, 1901 & 1911???
I have him buried at Snetterton on 10th July 1924 (from the parish records).
He is at the family home in North Street, Snetterton, Norfolk in 1851, 1861, & 1871.

Can anyone help me track him down between 1871 and when he died in 1924 please?

At home in 1851 North Street, Snetterton age 8 1861 At home North St, Snetterton age 18 1871 At home North St, Snetterton 1881 At home North St, Snetterton then he disappears I have his buriel in Snetterton 10/7/1924 age 81 years giving his abode in Attleborough. Where was he in 1891 and 1901???

Would someone try and find this family for me: I have them on 1861 census at Round House, Hockham - William Bird 55 year Shepherd, wife Sarah (60) Samuel Bird 17 Lodger & James Norton 17. They were married in East Harling so could be there on 1841 and 1851 census 1871, 1881, & 1891 in Hockham? if possible.
