Reply to LYNNE POTTER. You questioned whether it is possible to restrict access to details of living relatives. Instead of putting the details of those people on to GenesConnected (or any other website come to that), use some Genealogy software on your PC (and there is loads to choose from these days - and some of it is very good and free!) - use the software to record your details and then only export to GEDCOM details of people who are not living (most decent family tree software will allow you to do this). You can then upload this GEDCOM file to G-C (I know, that bit isn't working yet apparently, but I'm sure it will soon). By doing it this way you then sleep easily knowing that that data is still private because it never left your PC! The thing is to only upload the data that you can trust and that you would be happy for others to see. Simon. PS, There is some half decent software called PAF which you can download for free (line costs excepted of course) from the LDS at http://www.familysearch.org/ and follow the links from there.
