I am trying to find out who I am. I never knew my father and only recently discovered that he was a widower when he married my mother and had 3 children from his 1st marriage. I don't know whether he is alive or dead.........I need to find him please? His name is/was Frederick William David Wheeler. Married Vera Ada Harris in 1934 and lived at 17 Addison road, Southsea. There were 3 children - Frederick. Julie Angela born Portsmouth 1937 and Dawn born Portsmouth . He married my mother (Margaret Walsh Praeger) in Maldon in 1947 and had one child - Mary Ann (me). They lived at 2, Norland Road, Southsea. They appear to have separated soon afterwards and I have never met him. I really need to know who I am - where I came from and would very much like a photo or SOMETHING to know my father by - even if it is only a grave to visit.. To discover that I have half siblings is strange but wonderful. Can anyone help please? PS- IFOUND THEM! i CALLED DIRECTORY ENQUIRIES AND IT WAS THAT SIMPLE........THE ONLY ONE WHO IS MISSING NOW IS ROSEMARY TOOMES. BELIEVE SHE MAY BE LIVING IN LINCS |
