If you do a search for the surname Kinsella on the www.familysearch website under the IGI records...for the region British Isles, then Ireland then you will see which counties some were living in at a given time from the birth/christening records .

Or you can just search for Co Killkenny...but I do know there are some Kinsella's in Co. Dublin too.

Don't hold your breath though...with a name like Patrick...every Irish family has at least one Patrick!

I am trying to find any Kinsella"s originating in Kilkenny Ireland, my father was Patrick James born in the early 1900 "sand came from a family of abouht nine or ten children
