I am looking for any relatives/descendants of Ruth Cooper, born in Slindon, West Sussex in 1844. She had a brother called Henry and was married to William Coleby from Brighton in 1867. She and her husband then moved to Thornton Heath where they had at least 4 children, Elizabeth (who died in infancy), William born 1870, Henry 1872 and Ada Ruth 1879 who married in 1902 in Godstone Surrey. Their grandchildren were William, Walter, 2 girls poss Gertrude & Lillian, Harold (who died in 1975), Donald Ernest, Leonard Frederick & Alan George, some of whom were born in the Sevenoaks area. |
