Hi Kathleen,
We have managed to find the father of John Godfrey b1849 plus his his 5 siblings, one of which was the g/grandfather of Cardinal William Godfrey.

am trying to find out about my G Grandparents John Godfrey of Liverpool b1849 he married Ann Caton of Ireland b1848 they had seven children Maggie, John,Mary,Tommy,Lizzie,Martha, & Saran. Most of the Godfrey family seem to have been Carters/Hauliers any info would be great.John had nine siblings that I know of,Elzabeth1850,Edward1853,William1856, Ann Jane 1858,Mary Ann1861,Catherine 1863,Henry 1865,Thomas 1866 and Martha 1869.
