WILLIAM HENRY HUGHES, BLACKSMITH, BIRMINGHAM C 1880'S I believe William, a blacksmith/axle smith married a CLARA CONNOR/CONNER and they had several daughters: Emily (my grandma) b 20th Feb 1899, Cape Street, Birmingham. William and Clara are listed as the parents on her birth cerificate... He was dead by the time Emily married in Jan 1924. Please help I am at a dead end on this branch of the tree... I cannot find a wedding certificate for William and Clara, no census listing showing both of them, no births listed for her siblings, nothing! (The siblings included Clara, Peg, Gert and another...) All help and/or advice welcomed! Sue |
