Please can anyone help, my dad's side of the family (Parry) come from Amlwch on Anglesey, his Great Grandmother Elizabeths maiden name was Hughes, she was also born in Amlwch in 1840, on the 1881 census it shows Elizabeth living at Llanedwen, Anglesey, together with her children, William, Ellin, Margaret, David and Ivor (my great grandad) and also her mother Ellin Hughes but there is no sign of her husband (Parry) in the household, I cannot find any trace of him elsewhere on the census, all I know is that he was a carpenter, on the 1901 census it shows Elizabeth living in Liverpool and widowed, if anyone recognises any of these names, please contact me! |
