Elizabeth Lillian Flynn. I am trying to find my mothers family. Elizabeth was born in 1905 in Sligo and lived on Mail Coach Road. She had ?3 brothers and 1 sister. I have a photograph of one brother called Christopher Flynn who appears to have been a sergeant in the Irish Army. My mother married Frank Protheroe who was a regular soldier in the British Army. As they travelled to various bases in Europe, she lost contact with her family. I hope that some member of the family see this message which I admit does not provide much information. I do not know what Mum's parents Christian names were. One brother may have been called Owen and her sister was possibly Mary. Hope to hear from you. |
