My Hughes are from Glamorgan and Caernarvonshire. My grandparents Robert Lloyd HUGHES d.o.b. unknown married, date unknown, Elizabeth EVANS b. 26 Oct 1881 Llanrwst, Denbigh. Robert's father was Peter HUGHES occupation carpenter/joiner. Elizabeth's parents Thomas EVANS b. Neston, Cheshire c1851 and Jane MCCUE b. Bangor, Caernarvonshire. Date of marriage 5 Sept 1874 RC Chapel, Bangor, CAE. Children of Robert Lloyd and Elizabeth HUGHES: Louisa b.12 Apr 1915, Iris b.23 Apr 1918, Thomas Dec 1920, Peter, Albert and Elsie dob's unknown but Elsie died 5 March 1942 from Meningitis. Would love to hear if anyone has any connections. |
