William Hyde Davies - born in Carmarthen C1880's served in the Garrison Artillery and served in WW1. He certainly worked in the mines in the Merthyr Tydfil area. He married,I believe his wife was Elizabeth?, there were six children: Gertrude (Gee)born 1911, moved to London as a nurse, Rose, Arthur, Clifford (Cliff) Gwen and Mona. Address 73, Trevethic Street, Merthyr Tydfil. They live at another house in the same street prior to that address. Would be very interested to get any info on my maternal grandfather. Thanks for any help offered- John Spencer |
