Help me! I'm trying to find my grandmother Doreen Phyllis Rochester and great aunt Elizabeth Edmunds relatives believed to be living in the Manchester area. Their fathers name was Robert Williams who was a sergeant major in the Madras police who died while serving in India. Their mothers name was Margaret Williams nee Long. They returned from India 1946 -1650 and settled in the Wiltshire area. The only other name we have is a Elizabeth Hammersley known to be living in the Ashton under lyne area, Manchester. Anyone with any information please contact me as they are getting on in age and would really like the opportunity to make contact with any relatives. |
