Trying to locate information on Emily Jones b1874 in Chirk (7 y/o and living in Fron Lwyd, Llantsantffraid Glyn Ceiriog (some would say Pontfadog) with her grandfather on the date of the 1881 census). In 1901, aged 27 at the time of the census, she was 'in service' in a house in the village of Llanymynech / Llanymynach south of Oswestry on the road leading to Welshpool. That currently is all I know and would love to know more. TIA J A 'Jess' Lomas |
