Barry..
I am also trying to trace Smith's of Lynn ..mine where originally northenders and fishing folk although I was told my great grandfather (John?) was in the navy. I havent had any luck at all here on Gene's..no one seems to have any links. Smith is a difficult one to trace being a familiar name and as there are so many, you need a specific link. I dont know if you have anymore leads at all.
