My Great Grandmother was Caroline Berenger Cooper born 1856 in Stepney, London. She married Edward Charles Ingram in London. I know her father was George Cooper who (as family tales would have it) was a wealthy merchant. Caroline was sent away to School in Switzerland and came back to no money after her father had remarried and then died. I can find no trace of her birth or any siblings. I know she died after childbirth at the age of 41. Any help would be appreciated!! |
