GREET- ELIZA JANE also known as Lily Born November 23rd 1893 Phillack Cornwall to Charles (mariner, merchant service) and Jane Greet. She was one of four children:- John1883, Henry 1886 and Eveline1899 living at the time of the 1901 census in Hayle Cornwall. Had an illegitamate daughter Nancy September 16th 1924 (my late mother) who was fostered until around 5 years old by the Uren family of Camborne before being adopted by Florence Mary Brooking and after some years living in Penzance moved upto Feltham Middlesex (mid thirties). Eliza Jane finally married in 1936 (Jan -Mar) to William R J Martin in Plymouth. My mother had contact with Eliza up to being adopted. I would like to find out any information on the Greet side of my family Thank you Julie Murfin.

Hi Julie
I have just started to look at my tree and you seem much further progressed then me.I believe my great great grandparents moved to Wales from Plymouth. They show up on the 1901 census wales. They were James and Henrietta Greet. I have no further infiormation on thier siblings or who their parents were. The Greets that I am trying to trace seem to disappear into thin air.
Thanks Michelle
