My maiden name was Birkett and I was born in Carnforth and my father, James born 1918, my grandfather James born 1884 and my great grandfather William born 1854 all lived in Lancaster. I haven't gone any further back at this stage, but fount it interesting that your ancestors all have connections with the same area. Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Elizabeth Birkett I am trying to find information on the ancestors of my great great great grandmother Elizabeth Birkett (bp. 14.12.1806) at Warton near Carnforth, Lancashire. Elizabeth married William Edmondson at Warton 17.12.1829. She was daughter of John Birkett and Betty Wilson of Silverdale who were married in 1782 at Lancaster. Dave Edmondson [email protected]
