Hi Laurie,

I came across your request and my attention was grabbed by the use of the Maidens name.

I have Samuel Skelton born 1790 married to Mehetabel Maidens born 1791 in my tree.

It's possible that their son Charles born 1821 is related to your Thomas, and was christened with his grandmother's name.

I've been unable to trace him in Lincolnshire, where he was born.

Trying to find any relations of Thomas Maidens Skelton b1853, married Sarah Jane Thornally in Manchester 1873. They had a son John born 1877, Thomas died 1878 Boston, Lincs. Fairly sure he was from in or around Manchester. Laurie
