Find Ancestors

I am trying to find family of my father Bernard John Williams, born in Dalston, London on 17-02-1920.His father was Thomas Samuel Williams born in 1884, and married to Kathleen Christina Whelan also born in 1884. They were married on 26-10-1907. At that time they were living in Bushey, Watford district. He was a bricklayer, then went into the navy (probably for the war), and was then a Metropolitan Policeman. My great grandfather was Thomas William Williams.Also a bricklayer. I do not know if my father had any siblings. My father was originally married to Maureen Patricia Macnamara Ward, and had 2 children, a son Glenn and the other was not born at the time they were divorced. They were at this time living in South Africa. When my mother married we moved to Kenya, and my father died in Singapore in 1956. My mother remarried and I was adopted. If anyone can shed any light on any of the family, I would appreciate it.
