	I am looking for information on my Gt. Gt. grandfather Thomas Charles Hawkins. Born c1825, father John who was a sea officer, he married Jane Woodroffe in 1848 and they had at least 3 children, Charles Lacy, Frank Leatham and Louisa Jane all born in London. Thomas was a soldier serving in the Royal Horse Guards. I can't find him on any census returns and can only find a Charles Hawkins serving in the RHG in the records at the National Archives. ANY information on Thomas would make me the happiest person in the world at the moment!!!
