Hi Im trying to find out about the carter family that came from (down town) rotherhithe My grandads name was joseph carter and he was born on 27/8/1907. I know he had about 13 brothers and sisters. I know some of their names richard but they called him dick,and a brother named halver I think thats how you spell it? and some of his sisters names are elizabeth,lily,liza,dolly,alice. I know they lived in the houses near a shop near amos estate.I also believe my grandad used to play piano at the fidgets pub in the evenings. Anyone who knows anything about the family would be great. My grandad joseph married a florence west on december 25th 1930 they had four children. |
