Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	hi, i am trying to find my husbands birth father.His name is William Whittle, and he came from the Eccles area of Manchester. He was born c.1920 and was married to Carol Payton Mcdowell.They had 2 children David William dob 23/8/44 and Pauline 12/5/46.Both born in Eccles.William left in 1949.I think he was a painter and decorator.His mother lived near there until her death i think. Sorry im new to all this ,but any information would be great. Maureen Burton.
