Hello my name is Ernest Prendergast. My great grandfather was Arthur Blissett who lived with his wife and rather large family in the Portsmouth area in the 1890s and beyond. His address was 58 Queens Road Portsea. If any of the descendants of my grandfathers brothers and sisters would like to get in touch with me. Then I would be delighted to hear from them. There is no ulterior motive in this invitation. I just think it is sad that two parts of the same family never ever knew each other. And if my interest in genealogy can rectify that situation; well so much the better. I am looking for the descendants of the following Blissetts; assuming that they survived to have their own families. CECELIA,FLORENCE,KATE, REGINALD, BEATRICE and WILLIAM. If your great grandfather was Arthur Blissett and he was a famous organist in the Pompey area; and your great gran was Alice, then it is more than likely that you are one of the people that I am looking for. Send me an email. thanks; Ernest. PS my grandfather was Algernon Arthur Blissett. |
