Im trying to find information about ancestors of my father, James Farrell. He was born 25.12.1907, died in 1978. He was married to my mother, Mary Kearney, she was born 14.06.1915, died in 1979. Both born and died in Manchester. My fathers parents were James (or John) Farrell who it is said was born in Roscommon, Southern Ireland. He was married to Mary Hill, possibly married in Roscommon but maybe married in Manchester in late 1800s or around 1900. They had other children, Arthur, George, Alice and Agnes. We dont know the dates of birth, marriage or death of my fathers parents. Since so many older relatives have passed on,its very difficult to acquire helpful details. Can anyone help who may have known my parents when they were younger or who may have known of their parents perhaps in Roscommon or after they moved to Manchester. Look forward to hearing from anyone. Jean Pitt (Farrell) |
