John Davis (1798-1850) Can anyone help, I am stuck here and cannot find outany more about him so I cannot go back any further. His first son John I can trace his family line but not his three brothers. what I have so far is that he married a Jane Ridley(c1798-1857) believed she was from middlesex area. They lived in monnow st, monmouth. He was a tailor by trade and had four sons they are John Davis(1826-1868) married Elmira Cutter(1823-1876) and moved to bristol and had seven children, william(1852-) henereata(1853-) phillip(1854-) alfred(1855-) elmira(1856-) henery(1859-) charles (1860-) William Davis (1827- ?)
