TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ON THE SHAW FAMILY FROM TIPPERARY (ROSMORE). THOMAS SHAW WAS MY GRANDFATHER HE MARRIED MY GRANDMOTHER HER MAIDEN NAME WAS RYAN (dont know her first name) SHE DIED WHEN MY FATHER WAS AROUND 3 OR 4. THEY HAD CHILDREN: PATRICK JOHN THOMAS CISSIE (NORA) ANNIE MARGARET MARY (SHE WAS A NUN AND LIVED IN AUSTRALIA) AND BRIDGET. I REMEMBER MY AUNTIES CISSIE AND ANNIE THEY LIVED IN RUSHOLME MANCHESTER IN THE 70S MY SISTER AND I WENT TO STAY WITH THEM ONCE. CISSIE MARRIED A MAN NAMED DICK MURPHY AND ANNIE LIVED WITH THEM. MY UNCLE TOM LIVED IN BURTON ON TRENT I THINK HE MARRIED A NURSE I LAST SAW HIM AT MY FATHERS FUNERAL IN 1978 WHICH WAS ALSO THE LAST TIME I SAW MY AUNTIES. |
