my grandfather was Charles Dick Muir Mcdonald McClelland born in the Mauchlin area of scotland.His mother was named Maggie.We have drawn a blank so any information on mcclellands from this area would be welcome. We have since found out that he was married before he married my grandmother,with no record of a divorce this may prove to be bigamous sadly.we are not aware of any children from this early marriage but these would be siblings for my father and his brother and sister.maggies mother and father were david mcclelland and jane coulter.my grandfathers first wife wasalso a jane coulter(his second cousin once removed). if any of this means anything.please get in touch.any info welcome.thanks jackie |
