Member Since: September 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Father was called George Udale Born in the workhouse Bridge Street Manchester in 1900,(no father recorded on his birth certificate) He was an early morning knocker up, and lit fires for Jewish family's in the cheetham hill area, he worked at Wm E Carey's Spring Works, Red Bank Manchester, Married my Mother Dorothy (Dolly) Sproston and then lived in the ancoates area any information however slight might help me to build my family tree.
