Trying to find Clarke

Victoria Report 7 Mar 2004 22:23

hi, i am trying to find anything on my great grandfather Harry Clarke. He was born around 1883, probably in Walsall. Cannot find him on the 91 or 01 census. Cannot find a birth certificate under Harry or Henry or Clark/e, and have scoured local records to no avail. He married Leonora Manning in 1909, on the marriage certificate he lists his age as 25,his occupation is Iron Furnaceman and address 55 Green Lane, father Henry Clarke. He and Leonora had ten children, Olive, Harry, Doris, Jack, Billy, Elsie, Edna, Florrie, George and David. The family lived at Margaret Street, Walsall. He died in approximately the mid-1950s (cant find registration of death either!) and his wife the early 1960s. He also worked as a builder. Any help at all GREATLY appreciated!
