Im trying to find the family of my maternal grandmother Clara Chapman She was born around the turn of the century and had my mother Betty in 1926 (No record of a father) They lived around the Kanresborough/Harrogate area I think Her fathers name was possible James and they were farmers I believe Clara was in service. She married Alfred Catton in 1926 and they had two other children Peter and Winifred(have lost contact with her and would like to find her also) She left home when the children were little and went to live in London. They recieved cards and presents initially but during the war these ceased and all contact was lost Can any one out there help me to put another piece of the jigsaw together?

Not sure if you may be a missing link in our family. I had an Uncle Alf who I knew in the sixties and seventies he was married with a lovely wife and family but he had been married before and had a child or children. He was born in 1907
Hope you are still at this address.
