I am trying to find information on my Grandfathers family,his name was Walter Tookey he was born in Chislehurst Kent in 1879.His parents were John Tookey he married Eleanor(sophie) Eliott in Bromley Kent in 1867.They had nine children. Alice 1868 Agnes 1870 Arthur 1871 George 1873 Rose 1875 Sarah 1877 Walter 1879 my grandfather Tom 1882 Jesse 1887. I think Agnes married William Woollven? and moved to Rustington they had at least 3 children John George Agnes. I have a ww1 photo of my grandfather with 3 other men all have similar features and think they maybe some of his brothers.2 are in the Royal Navy 1 from HMS Repulse the other from HMS Excellant the third man is in Royal artillary uniform my grandfather was in RFC.Hope someone can help.

Hi Kathlyn
I have a marriage between a Tom Tookey (aged 20) and a Jessie Palfrey (aged 16). They lived at 4 Shaftesbury Cottages (i take this to be in Plymouth Devon). The marriage took place Sept 10th 1882.
Fathers names were Fredrick Tookey (a fisherman) & John Palfrey (a carrier? i think).
I have children born/baptisms to a Tom & Jessie Tookey
Lavinia May born Nov 9th 1882
Catherine Maud born May 3rd 1885
Alfred Tom born May 23rd 1887
Fredrick John born Feb 26th 1890
Elsie May born March 12th 1893

Not sure whether this is of any help to you. Found this in reference books when i first started tracing my family tree. I'm not sure where they fit in or if they do
