I am looking for anyone who may have known Avis Irene Williams, who was living in Auckland New Zealand in the late 1940's early 1950's. She had a daughter - my mother - to (at this stage) an unknown man - my grandfather. We have no idea who he is, and she is not forthcoming about it. I want to know where I came from, and my family history, health issues etc. I believe she was living in West Auckland, around Avondale, New Lynn area and once she became pregnant she went away to stay with an aunt in Napier/Wanganui before going to Wellington to give birth. She gave birth to my mother on 7 December and adopted her out immediately. Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated Thanks!! Desperately seeking grandfather |
