my g/g/grandfather william was born in 1820 in berwick upon tweed his parents where james & susanah bell he married sophia masters in london in 1842 they had 13 children between 1844 & 1867 including twins ann & mary born 1844 who in 1866/1867 married & went to china as missionaries & where killed along with their familys in the boxer rebellion william & sophia moved around a lot william was a smith when they married but later became a shoe maker they lived in gt waltham essex for a time & I think sophia was born there .if any one came help me with any information about her or other members of the family I would be most greatful |
