Hello My name is David Young and I am seeking information about my father's family in Northern Ireland. My father Robert Charles Young (Charlie) was born 26 Jan 1905 at Rylands, near Gortin, Co. Tyrone. His father Thomas Young married Sarah Hannah Fleming. Charlie had several brothers and sisters, including Thomas, William, George, John, Annie and Ruby and the Young family lived on a farm called Drumcliff. Ruby married George Ringland and had 3 daughters, Ruby, Georgina and Florence. Florence lived at Killinchy, Co Down. One of my cousins may be related to Florence. My father Charlie moved to England and in later years one of his sisters Annie, then living with George Ringland, wrote often to Charlie from Lack Road, Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh. Does anyone have a record of the marriage of Thomas Young and Sarah Hannah Fleming possibly in Gortin, Co Tyrone, around 1900. Almost a year since posting first message on GR but will keep on trying.
