I am tracing the Walker family who settled in the Westhoughton, Bolton areas. I have traced back to 1800 to a Robert Walker from whom my family descend. Now I am eager to trace his ancestry. I was told that 3 Walker brothers came from Scotland, one went into farming, one opened the brewery at Warrinton and the 3rd opened a tannery in Bolton. Can anyone help.? |
