Ron Jones, Newbury Berkshire looking for relations in LONDON I'm looking for the descendants of Alexander John JONES who was born in USK, Monmouthshire Alexander John had four children by his first marriage Allen Thomas Benjamin Leo Eliza(beth) Allen is my grandfather who was in the RAMC, lived in Senghennydd, Glam, then Newport Mon BENJAMIN JONES & LEO JONES moved to London. They were roman Catholics and were baptised in USK but married (I believe) in what is now called Docklands. This side of the family is totally lost to me and I would dearly like to find them. Eliza I believe married locally and was then widowed. I don't know if she had children, but if she did, I would love to make contacts with her descendants Alexander John Jones and the family lived in TWYN SQUARE, Usk. Alexander was an Undertaker, a Joiner, a Builder and I believe his wife was Mary or Agnes Alexander John Jones remarried a woman called LAVIN who was known as "Ma lavin" and MAY have been "cockney". They lived in Newport Mon and at the time of his death Alexander John Jones was working as a carpenter, probably in newport Docks.
