Can anyone help as I have drawn a blank. My grandfather Edward Thomas Jones was born in or around Windsor, Berks, I'm guessing at around 1885. He married my grandmother Alice Theresa Cavanagh, who was from Queenstown, Ireland. I would presume the marriage was there. I think they may have lived there until about 1934 when they moved to London. They had four children, Winifred, Hazel, Kathleen and my father Edward Martin born 1922. Edward Thomas died c1944 from, I believe, results of mustard gas from WW1. I would appreciate if anyone could give me a lead to follow. |
